We’re a nation often defined by our greeting. A welcoming, laid-back conversation starter, lacking all pretence or judgement. We use the exact same words with strangers and friends. Love it or hate it, at home or abroad, it’s unavoidably us.
So as we continue this national conversation, we ask you to take a minute. A minute to think of those beyond your own social circle. A minute to question why our government can’t rely on conscience. A minute to ask yourself what “g’day mate” means today. And a minute to consider what it might mean tomorrow.
Australia, are we missing something?
